Human Factor-IX produced from fresh frozen human plasma is a glycosylated polypeptide chain having a molecular mass of 56 kDa.

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized 100U Factor-IX in sterile 100μl of 18MΩ-cm H2O, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
